Into how many time zones is the Earth divided

The earth is divided into 24 time zones, with each zone covering 15 degrees of longitude. This means that the world’s official time changes according to which part of the globe you are in. For example, when it is 12pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) on one side of the world, it could be 8am or 9am PST (Pacific Standard Time). Different countries use different times so if you want to know what time it will be where your customer lives make sure to check their country’s local standard and adjust accordingly.
