Discover Three Direct-Selling Success Stories

on

Within the entire direct-selling industry, ordinary people build and grow businesses on their own terms. And while doing this successfully is very challenging, it’s also very possible.

Building a successful direct-selling or MLM business requires hard work, time, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. And to show how rewarding this path to success is, we’re featuring three Associate stories from USANA Health Sciences.

Gabriela Sáez

Gabriela Sáez has been interested in health and nutrition for a long time. In fact, you could say it’s her job to be interested in how the body functions—she is a medical professional, after all. She first learned about USANA from a friend who shared USANA supplements with her. Gabriela immediately recognized the quality and innovation of the products, and she began sharing them with her family, friends, and patients.

As Gabriela’s business grew, she noticed her life beginning to change. “The working part of a doctor’s life is usually lonely,” she says. “My USANA business allowed me to work within a community where we all support each other, laugh and cry together, celebrate, learn, travel, and, above all, focus on supporting other people’s lives.* That aspect alone has been the most rewarding to me.”

With her deep understanding of the importance of nutrition, supplementation, and exercise, Gabriela endeavored to improve the lives of people she met and achieved major milestones as her community grew. “Earning the Top Enroller Award has probably been my greatest achievement so far,” she says. “I enjoy the title, of course, but what really matters is that there are more and more people out there who share and benefit from USANA’s quality nutrition. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing others achieve their goals and knowing I contributed to their success.”

Her medical experience makes it easy to approach others about supplementation. “I always begin my USANA conversations by addressing health and nutrition,” she says. “Almost everyone has some kind of health-related habit or goal. And that’s where I can help.”

Gabriela’s next major goal is to create and share valuable information about supplementation with health professionals, nutritionists, and the general public. But even more, she is dedicated to helping her USANA team grow and achieve their goals.

Junli Shao

Junli Shao discovered her passion while growing her USANA business. Now she is committed to helping, serving, and achieving a better sense of self. After being introduced to USANA by a friend, Junli quickly gained a thorough understanding of the products and their ingredients and benefits. “I often share USANA with my friends,” she says. “And when I do, I can say with certainty that USANA is the world’s top producer of nutritional supplements.”

Through her diligent efforts and innovation, Junli has achieved the rank of Silver Director. Now, her goal is to reach new heights both professionally and personally. “My vision is to help and serve more people,” she says. “And to achieve a better sense of self.”

In her words, success and passion are strongly intertwined. “Everyone has different definitions of success,” she says. “For myself, success is finding and living what I love. My USANA business ignites a passion I have never felt before. I found my own value and will stick with it, no matter the final result. As long as I work hard for the causes I love, I won’t regret it.”

Junli has followed her heart, and doing so has brought her personal success. Looking to the future with hope and optimism, she’s working to expand her reach to help others live healthy lives.

Xue Lan (Annie) Huang

Finding balance is much harder than we often expect. And it’s not uncommon for circumstances outside of our control to disturb what balance we have. Annie Huang has focused her life on fostering balance between her health, family, and career. In fact, it’s the reason she started a USANA business. “I first learned about USANA through the products,” she says. “I took them to support my health. Eventually, I discovered USANA’s business opportunity and determined they were a worthy company to partner with.”

Establishing her USANA business taught Annie the importance of balance between work and spending time with family. “It also helped me realize my true needs,” she says, “and develop stronger self-esteem. Now I want to help others live their lives with physical, mental, and emotional health.”

Annie quickly connected with other business builders and became an important part of the USANA community. “The greatest benefit I’ve experienced from joining USANA is the people I’ve met,” she says. “Now I work with partners who brim with positive energy and so many ideas for both health and business. I love being part of an international community with a culture of gratitude and harmony.”

Now she is working to achieve the rank of Star Diamond Director while helping her team members grow their businesses. She is a truly inspiring team leader with a solid focus on fostering balance across all aspects of life. “My greatest achievement so far is that I’ve become a role model for my son,” she says. “I always want to be someone who supports others. Live your life as a beam of light, and you will illuminate those who need it.”

Through diligence, patience, and a willingness to learn and adapt, direct sellers have an opportunity to be part of an inspiring community of like-minded entrepreneurs who encourage one another to achieve personal goals.
